About Us

Family owned and operated and founded in 2022, MLC Ecosystem Restoration has evolved from Milestone Landscape Construction (founded in 2008) to become a full-service construction business with an area of expertise based in natural infrastructure creation, ecological restoration, natural areas maintenance services as well as supporting built infrastructure projects where our clients spaces interact with natural features.

Our Commitment to the Planet 
Sourcing Local  
  • We endeavour to procure raw materials from local sources. 
  • We only use native, non-invasive plant species to restore local biodiversity.  
  • We strive to use supply chain partners who act to minimize their environmental footprint.  
Waste Management 
  • We plan our jobs to reduce and mitigate waste.   
  • We sort our waste for reuse and recycling to minimize disposal.  
Carbon Neutrality 
  • We optimize driver behaviour and maintain our vehicles and equipment to cut emissions.  
  • We plant trees to help offset our estimated carbon emissions.  
  • We provide one percent of our annual profits to local sustainability efforts.
  • We have a plan to transition to low and/or no carbon alternatives for our equipment

​Our social responsibility strategy will continue to develop as we do. As our experiences accrue, our processes will evolve and improve, and our social responsibility strategy will mature. As we reach one milestone, we are already thinking about how we will reach the next one.
