MLC has completed many wetland construction and restoration projects. Here are a few examples of projects we're proud to have been part of.

Boyne Valley Wetland and Pit and Mound Creation
Client: Conservation Halton
Summary
Installed a pit and mound and open water wetland landscape in the floodplain of 16 Mile Creek. Total area of wetland created was approximately 7600m2. Open water wetland features included deep zones in excess of 2m of depth. Habitat feature installations included bat boxes, perch poles, turtle nesting sites and basking logs.

Blair Flats Wetland Restoration
Client: rare Charitable Research Reserve

Summary
​​
Expanded existing Grand River Floodplain wetlands in the Blair Flats property owned by rare Charitable Research Reserve. Wetland area was increased by roughly 6000m2. This work included the installation of roughly 1km of sediment fencing, excavation and regrading of roughly 4000m3 of earth and installation of 1700m2 of coir to stabilize the bank of the wetland.
